Velocity Ammunition’s .308 Winchester 200gr Subsonic round is purpose-built for bolt-action rifles with 16″ to 20″ barrels. Loaded with a 200-grain plated bullet, this round is engineered for consistent subsonic velocity and excellent accuracy when used in the intended setup. In controlled testing at 100 yards in a climate-controlled indoor range with an 18” bolt action rifle, this round consistently delivers 1 MOA accuracy, making it an ideal choice for precision subsonic shooting.
IMPORTANT USAGE NOTES:
- Bolt-Action Rifles Only: This round is not suitable for semi-automatic platforms. We do not guarantee function, safety, or performance outside of bolt-action rifles.
- Twist Rate: A minimum twist rate of 1:10 is recommended. However, it may stabilize with other twist rates.
- Barrel Length Specific: Optimized for 16″–20″ barrels. Accuracy and subsonic velocity may vary with shorter or longer barrels.

This ammunition is designed with suppressed use in mind; however, users should always confirm safe firearm setup before suppressor use. Before attaching a suppressor, verify projectile stabilization and safe operation by firing unsuppressed and inspecting targets for clean, round impacts. Confirm suppressor alignment and barrel concentricity prior to use. Do not continue firing if keyholing, unusual sound signatures, point-of-impact anomalies, or signs of projectile instability are observed. Only bought 100 rds. Should have ordered more. Did not disappoint. Shooting RPR .308 20in. barrel. Suppressed at 100 yds. Zeroed with 3. Kept shooting just because. Barely any recoil. Was able to stay on target after every shot. Definitely hunting with this ammo.

I shoot this in my springfield M1a scout with a radical defense suppressor, works great, my hog hunting stand is at 50 yards, and the shots at that range are super accurate, it doesn’t cycle of course, too little pressure, so i have to rack it every round, no biggy. the wife likes shooting this round cuz of no recoil with that large rifle. like 0 recoil with this soft round. Plus that suppressor makes it super quiet.
