Description

.338 ARC 300gr BTHP Subsonic

This premium offering was developed for shooters looking to get the most out of the 338 ARC platform through reliable feeding and cycling suppressed and non-suppressed alike, dependable accuracy, and repeatable performance. In testing, this load demonstrated excellent shot-to-shot consistency, producing a Standard Deviation of just 7 FPS and an Extreme Spread of 35 FPS over a 30-round sample, making it an excellent choice for shooters who value tight velocity control and predictable results downrange.

Barrel Recommendation:

During testing, we observed improved accuracy performance from faster twist rate barrels, with the 1:5 twist platforms producing the best overall results. While this load functioned successfully across multiple configurations, for shooters prioritizing accuracy and consistency, we recommend pairing this ammunition with 1:5 twist barrels when possible.

Suppressor Use Notice:

This ammunition is designed with suppressed use in mind; however, users should always confirm safe firearm setup before suppressor use. Before attaching a suppressor, verify projectile stabilization and safe operation by firing unsuppressed and inspecting targets for clean, round impacts. Confirm suppressor alignment and barrel concentricity prior to use. Do not continue firing if keyholing, unusual sound signatures, point-of-impact anomalies, or signs of projectile instability are observed. Always follow suppressor manufacturer guidance and ensure all components are properly installed and torqued.
