Velocity Ammunition’s 8.6 Blackout Hornady 300gr is fresh on the market. Ours is a combination of Hornady .338 300gr BTHP achieving the new spicy subsonic riffle ammo you can shoot out of whatever niche bolt gun you’ve built or 8.6 upper you’ve slapped on an AR-10 lower. As always, we’re aiming for consistent, reliable and affordable offerings. Doing that, just like with our 300 blackout, we’d like to reduce the barrier to entry and get more shooters into shooting 8.6 blackout.

Suppressor Use Notice:
This ammunition is designed with suppressed use in mind; however, users should always confirm safe firearm setup before suppressor use. Before attaching a suppressor, verify projectile stabilization and safe operation by firing unsuppressed and inspecting targets for clean, round impacts. Confirm suppressor alignment and barrel concentricity prior to use. Do not continue firing if keyholing, unusual sound signatures, point-of-impact anomalies, or signs of projectile instability are observed. Always follow suppressor manufacturer guidance and ensure all components are properly installed and torqued.

If I could give a 4.8 I would. I ordered 100 rounds only had 4 come apart and 2 light primer strikes( most likely my rifle). Thats the only issues. Each round fired was on mark and buttery smooth. Ill definitely buy again

This Ammo ‘worked as advertised.’ I have a Q ‘boombox’ and ordered this ammo based on price, weight, and Subsonic performance. Shot it side-by-side against a more expensive MAXIM 8.6 load with the same weight/performance characteristics. Loading/function through the rifle was the same. Felt recoil was exactly the same. Shot grouping was indistinguishable between the 2. I’ll be buying a LOT more of this ammo through Republic in the future.
